Hi, I’m Michael – your photographer in Seoul.

My journey with photography started right here in Seoul, shooting street scenes on film between 2002 and 2006. I was completely immersed in documentary photography—capturing raw, unfiltered moments of everyday life. Each frame was carefully composed to tell a real story, and those early years taught me how to truly see the world through a lens.

In 2006, I launched Korea’s first street fashion blog, which expanded my visual storytelling into new directions. But at the core, I’m still that same photographer—curious, observant, and always chasing the perfect moment.

When we shoot together, I’ll bring that same energy and eye for detail. Whether we’re walking through the vibrant streets of Hongdae or finding hidden corners in Garosugil, I’m here to help you feel comfortable, connected, and part of the Seoul story.
