Apply with your portfolio
Fill out our application form with your portfolio, your experience, and a bit about yourself. We review every application personally and get back to you directly. No automated responses, no radio silence.

Build your experience listing
Once accepted, you create your listing. Set your route, your duration, your style, and your price. We will guide you through it to make sure it stands out and attracts the right travelers.

Receive bookings
Travelers discover your experience, book, and pay through the platform. You get notified straight away. No back-and-forth on price, no uncertainty about whether it is confirmed.

Connect with your client on WhatsApp
After confirmation, you reach out to align on the details: meeting point, style preferences, outfit tips, anything that will make the shoot better. This is where the experience starts.

Deliver the experience
Show up, guide the shoot, share your city. Do what you do best. This moment is entirely yours.

Share the photos via the platform
Once you have edited the images, you upload them to a private gallery through the platform. Your client receives an email with a link to browse and download their shots. Clean, simple, and professional.

A word from the founder
“I’m a photographer and I simply built the tool that I wished to have.”
I have been a photographer for years, and I still am. Early on, I struggled a lot to turn that passion into something sustainable. I took the route of travel blogging and built a career around it, but along the way I kept meeting photographers in the same situation: talented, dedicated, and genuinely lost when it came to finding clients and making it work financially.
That kept bothering me. These were gifted artists spending more time worrying about where the next booking would come from than actually shooting. So I started thinking about what would actually solve that. Because when you are a photographer, the last thing you want is to become your own marketing department. You want to focus on your craft and let someone else handle the rest.
Photo Trips is my answer to that. We handle the business side so you can focus entirely on your craft. You create beautiful work, we make sure the right clients find you and that everything runs smoothly. That is the deal, and I am proud of it.

FAQ
Questions from photographers
Everything you need to know before applying.
Do I need to be a full-time photographer to join?
No. Many of our photographers balance Photo Trips with other projects, clients, or a day job. You set your own availability, so the platform works around your schedule, not the other way around. Whether you want one booking a month or ten, that is entirely up to you.
Can I set my own prices?
Completely. You decide what your experience is worth and we never cap your rates or push you toward a particular price point. Once your listing is live, your price is communicated to travelers upfront, so there is no negotiating on the day. You set it once, we handle everything else.
What happens if a traveler cancels?
Travelers can cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled shoot. If they cancel after that window, the payment is not refunded and you are fully paid, even if the shoot does not take place. Your time is protected.
Can I offer multiple experiences or work in more than one city?
Yes on both. If you shoot different styles (street portraits, couples, families, golden hour sessions) or know multiple cities well, you can create separate listings for each. The more relevant experiences you offer, the wider the range of travelers you can reach.
Do I need to shoot in a specific style or provide particular equipment?
You are expected to bring your own professional equipment, but we will never tell you how to use it. Your visual identity is entirely yours. We selected you because of your creative style, and we want you to express it fully. No templates, no imposed aesthetics, no restrictions on how you shoot.
I’m already working as a freelance photographer. Why would I also list on Photo Trips?
Photo Trips is not a replacement for your existing work. It is an additional channel that brings you clients you would never have reached otherwise: international travelers, actively looking for a local photographer, ready to book. No cold outreach, no marketing spend on your end. Many of our photographers use it to fill gaps in their schedule or to reach a completely new type of client.
