Proposal Photoshoot In Kyoto With A Local Japanese Photographer
Hello, I’m Taka, a Japanese photographer based in Kyoto.
I invite you to join this photoshoot that is focused on couple photography and proposals.
I worked with a lot of couples that got engaged in Kyoto and I can help you to capture the best moment of this very special event!
For the location, I usually recommend the 3 following spots:
- Popular spots in Higashiyama area
- Fushimi Inari shrine with the beautiful torii gates
- Arashiyama bamboo forest
These are my recommendations but I’m also open to specific requests.
I know many hidden spots in Kyoto. After your booking, we will talk and plan together everything.
After the session, I will start to edit your pictures and I will deliver 50 high definition pictures.
This photoshoot is usually one hour but you can book an extra hour and get 50 extra shots.
I usually cover proposals but this photo session is also great for a couple celebrating their wedding / honeymoon.
Flexible Cancelation Policy: get a full refund if you cancel 1 week (7 days) before the day of the shooting.

Reviews
We couldn’t have been happier with our engagement photoshoot with Taka! He was very professional, accommodating, and communicative in the time leading up to and throughout the photoshoot. He found the perfect scenery based on what our vision was – old urban Kyoto without crowds. Throughout the session, he helped us pose and always checked in to know how we felt about each idea. Plus, Taka also made pleasant conversation, which made us feel very relaxed and at ease. We got about 80 photos in an hour of time. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience! We will cherish these photos for years to come. Thank you Taka!
Pleasure working with Taka and stunning pictures.
Taka is INCREDIBLE, 10/10 absolutely recommend. We followed his guidance on location and in retrospect we could not be happier. The photos turned out amazing and he was so kind and personable throughout the entire process. If you are in the market for engagement or family photos in Kyoto then I would absolutely recommend Taka!
