Hi, I’m Hiroyuki, a Tokyo-born photographer specializing in street and portrait photography.
I began my photography journey in 2018 with a simple goal: to capture the beauty of Japan’s changing seasons. During the quiet period of the pandemic, my focus naturally shifted toward Tokyo at night. The city felt empty, silent, and mysterious, and that atmosphere pulled me deeper into street photography and nighttime storytelling.
My style is heavily inspired by sci-fi and cyberpunk culture, particularly iconic works such as AKIRA and Ghost in the Shell. I enjoy contrasting Tokyo’s nostalgic 90s streets with its futuristic skyscrapers, using vivid colors and cinematic light to create images that feel like scenes from a film. Each photoshoot is an exploration of mood, atmosphere, and the unique energy of the city at that specific moment.
Alongside my personal work, I collaborate with international musicians, fashion brands, and product-based projects. This experience allows me to bring a strong artistic vision while still adapting to each person and story I photograph.
During our photoshoot, I guide you naturally and help you blend into the city, creating portraits that feel authentic, expressive, and visually striking. Whether we shoot during the day or at night, my goal is to capture both you and Tokyo in a way that feels memorable and cinematic.
