Description

This hanbok photoshoot is designed to capture the beauty of Korean tradition through a soft, cinematic, and nostalgic lens.

I’m Jack, and I’ll guide you through some of Seoul’s most elegant historical locations, such as grand palace grounds or other traditional areas rich in architecture and atmosphere. The combination of flowing hanbok, refined details, and natural light creates images that feel timeless and deeply connected to Korean heritage.

My photography style focuses on warm tones and storytelling. Rather than stiff poses, the goal is to capture natural moments that feel emotional and authentic, as if each image were a scene from a story.

You don’t need any experience in front of the camera. I’ll guide you throughout the session, helping you find flattering angles and natural movements so you feel relaxed and confident from start to finish.

Hanbok rental is not included, but after booking I can share recommendations for trusted rental shops to help you prepare easily for the experience.

This photoshoot is ideal for travelers who want to experience Seoul in a meaningful way, blending tradition, elegance, and personal storytelling into memories that will last long after your visit.

I found Jack on Photo Trips when researching photo shoots in Hanbok for tourists. They have a soft, grey, classic look that drew me in. Jack was very responsive via Instagram and he was thorough in sharing suggestions for what worked best for others in the past (the best hanbok shop, what time to get there in order to be ready in time, etc). The photo shoot itself was great. I elected to get an extra hour for extra shots and I'm so glad I did. The palace was busy in all the popular spaces, but Jack knew a few special spots to get the best shots. He was also open to trying a few new things when I asked. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to do this again for any experience in Seoul. If you're on the fence, DO IT. You won't regret it.
