Traditional Photoshoot In Kyoto With A Professional Photographer | Secret Spots
In this photo session, you can stroll around the ancient capital of Kyoto, enjoy the history of temples and Kyomachi, and create special memories through a photography experience.
Firstly, I will meet at Starbucks Coffee (Kyoto Gion Hotel Branch) and I will explain the flow of the tour. We then head to our round-tour, while visiting not only Ninen-zaka and Yasaka-Pagoda, but also hidden spots where there are less tourists. There are also some standard photo spots along the way, so let’s proceed while taking commemorative photos. We can also shoot outside the Kiyomizu-temple area as well, so please feel free to inquiry.
I highly recommend that you wearing the traditional Japanese costume, kimono and the Japanese style hair style during the tour. Since there are many kimono rental shops in the city of Kyoto, If you would like to use the service, please let us know in advance, I can help you with the reservation.
Our photo session will last approximately 1 hour.
I especially recommend it for those who are new to Kyoto!
Please come and join me to make your own memories.

Jerry is a very talented photographer and he knows exactly how to make you comfortable. He gave me a brief insight of the history of Kyoto and Gion . It was a wonderful experience and I got some gorgeous pictures.
Had the most wonderful time walking around with Jerry! It’s pretty rare you’re able to book both a historic walking tour and a photo op, and I am so glad we were able to have him! Learned so much about Kyoto’s history on top of the beautiful photos that he took of me and my mom wearing kimono. Can’t wait to book him again the next time I’m in Kyoto!
Jerry made us feel very comfortable on camera and captured gorgeous shots around Kyoto. He also explained in detail the significance and history of the area. It truly added an extra layer to the experience.
