Description

This walking photoshoot invites you to explore the ancient capital of Kyoto while creating meaningful travel memories through photography.

We’ll meet in the Gion area and begin with a brief introduction before heading out to explore some of Kyoto’s most atmospheric locations. The route typically includes well-known landmarks such as Ninen-zaka and Yasaka Pagoda, along with lesser-known streets and hidden spots where the atmosphere feels more local and peaceful. If you have specific areas in mind, such as locations near Kiyomizu, the route can be adapted accordingly.

The experience is designed to be relaxed and accessible, especially if it’s your first time visiting Kyoto. As we walk, we’ll stop at scenic points to take photos, with guidance provided so you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

For a more immersive experience, wearing a kimono is highly recommended. Kyoto has many kimono rental shops, and if you’d like assistance with reservations, I can help arrange this in advance.

This photoshoot is ideal for travelers who want to discover Kyoto’s history, traditional streets, and cultural atmosphere while capturing lasting memories along the way.

Had the most wonderful time walking around with Jerry! It’s pretty rare you’re able to book both a historic walking tour and a photo op, and I am so glad we were able to have him! Learned so much about Kyoto’s history on top of the beautiful photos that he took of me and my mom wearing kimono. Can’t wait to book him again the next time I’m in Kyoto!
