During the session, we’ll explore some of Kyoto’s most atmospheric areas, from historic streets to iconic landmarks. Locations may include places such as the Gion district, Fushimi Inari, Pontocho, or Kiyomizu-dera, depending on the mood and visual style you’re looking for. I can also guide you to quieter, lesser-known locations that add a more intimate and authentic feel to the experience. Together, we’ll decide on the route that best reflects Kyoto’s heritage and your personal story.
My photographic style focuses on natural light, subtle movement, and the textures of the environment, creating soft, cinematic images that feel both dreamy and timeless.
Wearing a kimono is recommended to fully match the traditional atmosphere of Kyoto. If you’d like, I can share a list of trusted kimono rental shops offering beautiful selections. This is entirely optional, and you’re welcome to join the session in your own outfit.
No modeling experience is required. I’ll guide you throughout the photoshoot with clear, natural direction so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. If you already have experience, we can also collaborate on more creative compositions to elevate your portfolio.
